Slot Car Magnets and Chassis Ballast
Professor Motor stocks slot car traction magnets from B52, BRM, H&R Racing, MBSLOT, MRSLOTCAR, NINCO, NSR, Scalextric, Slot.it, Sloting Plus, and Thunder Slot. The Professor Motor magnets feature a trademark 24 karat gold plating and are exceptionally strong for a given size. Neodymium magnets improve traction on plastic home tracks where they are attracted to the metal rails, or on wooden tracks which use magnetic braid. Other chassis ballast can be added to improve traction and handling of slot cars when magnets are not allowed or the electrical conductors are non-magnetic.
