1 piece with fastening screw
this guide keel has an optimized geometry on the guide keel sword and is especially for the Carrera rail . Not suitable for Ninco rails.
The sword is deeper and wider than the Slotit Kiel, which means that the points are switched cleanly (in digital operation) and guidance in the curves is improved
Material polyamide with glass fiber, weight 0.70 grams
Blade depth 6.9 mm, shaft diameter 3.60 mm, total length approx. 22.5 mm
Note: this guide keel is for the new chassis generation from Slotit!
old chassis have a mounting height of 4.8 mm (e.g. 956 Porsche). The new CS03T60B chassis for all P956 / 962 has a height of 5.1 mm at the mount, and the bore is smaller at 3.70 mm.
For a correct fit / guidance of the guide keel you have to file this 0.3 mm down briefly with the file so that an ideal play can be set with the screw.
In addition, we have found in tests that with other chassis types where guide keels with clip function are installed there is a burr at the top of the mount (e.g. GT 40). This ridge must be removed so that the guide keel turns smoothly.
Other chassis have a ridge in the mounting hole at the bottom. If the guide keel can only be moved easily from above, the ridge is at the bottom. This edge must therefore be briefly broken from the assembly side with a scalpel or cutter.
With new chassis from 2015 no adjustment is necessary!
