PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
1 piece with fixing screw
This guide keel has an optimized geometry on the guide keel centerboard and is specifically for the Carrera rail . Not suitable for Ninco rails.
The centerboard is deeper and wider than the Slotit keel, which means the points are switched cleanly (in digital operation) and the guidance in the curves is improved
Material polyamide with glass fiber, weight 0.70 grams
Sword depth 6.9 mm, shaft diameter 3.60 mm, total length approx. 22.5 mm
Note: this guide keel is for the new chassis generation from Slotit!
To attach the conductor wire, use sockets (item 33001) or screw in grub screws M2 x 3 to secure the cable.
old chassis have a mounting height of 4.8 mm (e.g. 956 Porsche). The new chassis CS03T60B for all P956/962 has a height of 5.1 mm at the mount, and the hole is also smaller at 3.70 mm.
To ensure the guide keel is seated/guided correctly, you must briefly file down 0.3 mm with a file so that ideal play can be set using the screw.
In addition, during tests we found that in other chassis types where guide keels with a clip function are installed, there is a ridge at the top of the mount (e.g. GT 40). This burr must be removed so that the guide keel rotates cleanly.
Other chassis have a ridge in the mounting hole at the bottom. If the guide keel can only be moved easily when inserted from above, the ridge is at the bottom. This means that this edge must be briefly broken from the assembly side using a scalpel or cutter.
For new chassis from 2015, no adjustment is generally required!
