FOR THIS APPLICATION OR ANY APPLICATION WHERE CONNECTIONS ARE SOLDERED THIS WIRE
IS BY FAR THE MOST RELIABLE AND EASY TO WORK WITH. ANY CONVENTIONAL (PVC INSULATED)
WIRE WILL SHRINK FROM THE SOLDERED CONNECTIONS AND WILL RAPIDLY MELT. THE HIGH TEMPERATURE
CAPABILITY OF THE SILICONE INSULATION IS ROBUST AGAINST THE HIGH HEAT OF SOLDERING AND DOES
NOT SHRINK OR MELT AWAY FROM THE JOINT. AS WITH ANY SOLDERED TYPE CONNECTION, NEVER USE ACID
CORE SOLDER OR ACID FLUX, USE ROSIN ONLY SINCE THE ACID WILL EAT THE COPPER IN THE WIRE FOR LUNCH !
THE LARGE INSIDE DIAMETER TERMINALS IN THE PICTURE ABOVE (TOP 2) WERE DONE USING A COOL TRICK OF
STRIPPING THE INSULATION AND THEN FOLDING BACK OVER THE WIRE INSULATION TO BETTER FILL THE
TERMINAL BEFORE SOLDERING. A PROPER JOB OF SOLDERING WILL ALWAYS GIVE YOU AN ELECTRICAL
CONNECTION THAT IS 100 TIMES AS RELIABLE AS ANY POSSIBLE CRIMPED CONNECTION !
